10 WAYS FIONA FOX COULD RETURN TO BEING GOOD

1. DOUBLE AGENT

Scourge roared in anger as he was put in cuffs by the Freedom Fighters and his former girlfriend Fiona Fox looked upon him smugly. “You traitor!” he growled. “Traitor? I never worked for you to begin with! But it was fun making you think I was. Like I would really fall for such an arrogant womanizer like you.” Fiona said. “But…you slapped the two-tailed freak.” Scourge said surprised. “I didn’t enjoy that, but it was part of the façade. Sally and Sonic didn’t like how you Moebians kept posing as us and infiltrating our ranks so they decided to turn the tides. I applied to be double agent.” Fiona explained.

“So…you dating blue…” Scourge asked. “Was part of the façade. We wanted to inform Tails, but he was a bit heartbroken so we didn’t get the time to properly explain to him until much later.” Fiona answered. “But…you helped me conquer Moebius, invade the Freedom HQ, busted me out of jail!” Scourge said in disbelief. “I had to maintain my façade. You thought I liked all of that? Besides, you didn’t exactly conquer Moebius, you just beat up a few guys, the rest were too chicken or lazy to stop you. And while I managed to deliver some info, I couldn’t warn them in time about the attack on Freedom HQ.” Fiona explained.

“But you busted me out of jail.” Scourge said. “I continued my double agent act to spy on Finitevus. But he was suspicious about me so I needed to pull of the jailbreak to show him I was the bad girl. Too bad you wanted to strike out on your own. But in the end we managed to stop both you and Finitevus.” Fiona explained. “I was played…I can’t believe I was played!” Scourge whined. “That’s what you get for playing with other’s feelings.” Fiona said as Scourge was being dragged off.

“Now I really want to change back in my bodysuit, black isn’t my color.” Fiona said. “Are you doing something tonight? Now you don’ t have to be double agent anymore…maybe we could go to movie?” Tails asked nervously. “You’re asking me out on a date?” Fiona asked. “Maybe…” Tails said, sounding even more nervous. “Sure, I’d love to. I’ll pay the popcorn.” Fiona answered. “Really?” Tails said baffled. “I am. I didn’t give you a chance last time because I thought I might be too old for you…but as I kept up my façade, I watched you grow Tails. I’m actually impressed by you so…” Fiona said, blushing slightly.

Tails looked at her wide-eyed, before pinching his own arm. “Ouch! No, not dreaming.” The two-tailed fox said. Fiona giggled amused as she pecked Tails on the cheek, who was now blushing madly; “Definitely not dreaming!” he said with a goofy love struck grin on his face.

2. INTOXICATED

Fiona Fox lay in a hospital bed, Tails at her side, as the Moebian good-hearted counterpart to Dr. Eggman, Dr. Kintobor held a vial in his hand. “This is a very rare drug. It brings out the twisted side of one’s self. Ever since Scourge impersonated Sonic and started flirting with all the girls in Knothole, he has been drugging her without her knowing. He even had the Suppression Squad the Destructix keep doing so in his absence. The longtime exposure might have killed her if you didn’t find out in time.” The good doctor said. “That bastard Scourge…I knew Fiona couldn’t be bad. I knew she was still good. Will she be okay now?” Tails asked. “Now the drug is out of her system, she’ll recover. She’ll feel tired and weak but with good care and a healthy diet she’ll be back on her feet again.”

Fiona groaned as she opened her eyes. “Tails…what happened?” she asked. “That bastard Scourge, he had been drugging you. But now you’re better.” Tails explained. “I feel awful. In every way, how could I be so careless. That lemonade he bought me tasted weird and…I felt so angry all this time, I…” Fiona said sadly. “I don’t blame you, Scourge is to blame, and that’s why I kicked his butt so hard he won’t be able to sit comfortably for a while.” Tails said.

“Will everything be all right?” Fiona asked. “Sure, the others know it wasn’t your fault. I’ll take good care of you while you recover, and soon you’ll be able to go back with us to Mobius.” Tails answered. “Tails, you’re such a sweet guy, I should have given you a chance back then.” Fiona said. “You still can give me another chance, if it’s okay with you.” Tails said. Fiona stroked his cheek as she said: “I’m certainly okay with it.”

3. SWAPPED

Fiona Fox, looking tired and frightened, was wrapped up in a blanket by Tails, as Scourge and Fiona’s doppelganger in black were hauled off. “I can’t believe Scourge did it again, first impersonating me, then swapping Antoine for Patch and now he had swapped Fiona for her Moebian counterpart without us knowing.” Sonic groaned. “I’m sorry Fiona, we didn’t find out earlier. I feel so stupid.” Tails comforted Fiona, who had spent a year or so in the dungeons of Moebius’ castle after she’d been swapped for the Anti-Fiona.

“You came back for me…you really came back for me.” She said. “Of course, you’re one of us. We wouldn’t forget you.” Tails assured her. “I was starting to lose hope. But then you found me Tails…you saved me.” Fiona said softly. “You think I’d give up on you? How could I?” Tails assured her. “You’re so sweet Tails.” Fiona said as she buried her head in his furry chest and let loose some tears. “Don’t cry, I’m here for you know, the nightmare is over. I won’t let this happen to you again.”

4. FAKE

“So…the explosives are removed. I couldn’t remove the cybernetics but I could give you a normal appearance at least.” Rotor said as he finished his work he did on Fiona. Fiona looked at herself in the mirror, touching her face, now looking like it used to. “I can’t believe it…after all this time…I’m me again.” She said happily. “I can’t believe the whole time Scourge was taunting us with an Automaton of Fiona while he handed the real one to the Dark Egg Legion.” Sonic groaned.

“Luckily Tails found her while he was on that mission in Mercia.” Sally explained. Fiona then turned to Tails: “I want to thank you Tails, it’s thanks to you I no longer am part of that awful Legion, and it’s you who found me. And it’s thanks to you I can now be part of the Freedom Fighters again.” “Er…it was nothing…I mean I couldn’t leave you in the hands of that awful snake of a Lord Hood.” Tails said. “You’ve never given up on me, have you?” she asked. “Never!” Tails answered. She kissed his cheek as she said: “Well, now you’ll never have to let me go again.”

5. ABUSE

“Get out of my way, you little brat!” Scourge growled at Tails, who stood in front of a badly battered and bruised Fiona, protecting her. “No! You’ve played with her feelings, you made her turn on us, and then you treat her like crap all the way, I won’t let you hurt her anymore.” Tails said, baring his fangs. “I’m not scared of you.” Scourge said. “You should be.” Tails said as he punched Scourge in the face. “You little…” Scourge spin-dashed Tails, knocking him in a wall, and knocking him out. “Now I’ll finish you.” Scourge growled as he headed towards Tails.

But Fiona had gathered her strength, kicked Scourge in the stomach, and now she stood protectively in front of Tails. “What? Fi! Get out of the way!” Scourge said. “No! I won’t…I was devoted to you, I loved you and how you repay me? You used me as a mere toy, you hit me, you hurt me, you humiliate me. I threw everything away for you. Yet after all I’ve done, Tails was still willing to take me back. I won’t let you hurt him.” Fiona said, standing defiantly.

“Then you die too!” Scourge said as he cracked his Knuckles. Then the chandelier dropped on his head, knocking him out. Tails had woken up and loosened the rope that held the chandelier up, but Scourge was distracted by Fiona and didn’t see it coming. “Tails!” Fiona said as she took the fox in her arms. “I’m so sorry…I was stupid and…I’m so sorry.” She said as she cried. “Don’t worry, I’m here for you, I’m here to make you feel better.” Tails said, comforting her.

“I was blind. The one I should have given my love to…he was right under my nose.” Fiona whispered softly. “It’s not too late.” Tails assured her. Her teary face turned into a kind smile as she kissed Tails on the lips. “Whoa…” Tails muttered, looking flustered. “I’m glad I still have you.” she said.

6. THERAPY

“Fi? FI! For crying out loud, where is that vixen?” Scourge screamed as he looked through his entire castle, but he found no trace of her. “Where can she be? Slacking off? I swear, if I find her, I’ll show her what I do to lazy…” Scourge muttered as he then saw a note lying on the throne. He took the note, it was from Fiona. “What did she do this time?” he asked himself as he read the note:

Hi Scourge,

If you read this, I’m long gone. While I was in the No Zone Jail, things were starting to change for me. My friend Abby somehow managed to convince me to join in group therapy. I thought it was a waste of time, but somehow I found relief into pouring my heart out to everyone. More then I’d expect. I began realizing some mistakes I’ve made in my life, some really bad ones…

I didn’t want you to think I was a weakling so I got through with the escape plan, but as soon as we got back to Moebius, my heart wasn’t in it anymore. I realize that I was a fool for throwing away the life I had with the Freedom Fighters. It was my insecurity, my inability to trust anyone that had led me down the dark path, and it would only go downhill if I kept walking that path. So I moved away from it.

Sorry Scourge, but we could impossibly really love one another. I know how you are, you are a player, and I…I just wanted excitement in my life, but I can’t find it anymore. I’m not going to throw my life away anymore, I really want a better life, and being part of your gang is hardly living. Goodbye Scourge!

Scourge tore the note apart as he roared in anger: “That bitch! That treacherous bitch! Wait…they won’t take her back, she betrayed them. The Freedom Fighters never would want her back, she’ll be crawling back on all fours begging me to take her back.”

But at Mobius…Fiona Fox was under a tree with Tails, watching the sunset. “I’m so glad you were willing to give me another chance.” Fiona said as she ran her fingers through his hair. “It wasn’t easy convincing the others, but I believe you.” Tails replied. “You never stopped loving me, don’t you? Even if I didn’t deserve it…” Fiona said, shamefully. “But you made the right decisions in the end by leaving Scourge. I knew you’d eventually come by.” Tails assured her. “You’re so sweet Tailsy!” Fiona said as she kissed the young fox on the lips.

7. AMNESIA

“Fiona? Fiona?” Tails asked as he tried to wake up the vixen. During a fight between the Destructix and the Freedom Fighters, she got hit hard on her head and knocked out. The rest, including Scourge had ditched her to save their own behind. “You…you’re talking to me?” she asked confused. “Yes…you are Fiona Fox!” Tails said confused. “I wouldn’t know…I don’t remember…” she said. “You remember me?” Tails asked.

“You look familiar, but I can’t put my finger on it…” Fiona answered. “I’m Tails? Remember?” Tails asked. “Tails…that’s a cute name.” she said. “So you don’t remember anything?” Tails asked. “Nope! Only that I have a major headache.” She moaned as she rubbed her head. “Don’t worry, I’ll bring you to a doctor, he can help you.” Tails said as he helped Fiona stand up.

“Thanks…you’re really sweet. Why do I have the odd feeling I should feel sorry for something and it involved you?” Fiona said. “You…you did nothing wrong. I mean, you’re a very sweet girl. You’re just…a bit lost.” Tails said, trying to be careful with what he said. “I believe you…cause I have a good feeling about you…” Fiona added.

8. FUTURE

“Who are you?” Fiona said to the cloaked figure in front of her, the same figure that had appeared in a flash of blue light a few seconds ago. The stranger removed its hood…only to see the stranger looked exactly like her, only older. “Wha…you…me…we…” Fiona said baffled. “Listen very carefully Fiona, I am you from the future, I need to warn you for something. Don’t remain with Scourge, you’ll only doom yourself and Mobius.” The future Fiona warned. “How do I know you’re really me? You could be a clever trap set by doc Finitevus or the Freedom Fighters.” Fiona asked her future self. The future self moved closer to Fiona and said: “Okay, when you were five you (whispers something in her past self’s ear)…”

“What? No one knows that…you really are me? Wait, you say I don’t need to stay with Scourge?” Fiona said surprised. “Indeed, he’ll only betray you. He’ll only use you and after he’s done playing he drops you like a brick.” Future Fiona answered. “But…what do I need to do?” Fiona asked. “You need to go back…you know where.” Future Fiona answered. “I can’t go back, they wouldn’t want me back.” Fiona argued. “There is one who wants you back.” Future Fiona assured her.

“You don’t mean…he? He still loves me?” Fiona asked. “Yes, he never stopped loving you. I know, cause that were the last words he said to me…I couldn’t save him but you can, but only if you turn back now. For your future, for everyone’s future.” Future Fiona explained. “I don’t understand. How could he still love me?” Fiona asked.

“You would understand, but only if you would learn to trust people again. Listen, I can’t stay around any longer. It’s still your choice to make. But heed my warning.” Future Fiona said before she literally faded. Fiona became dizzy because of what just happened. “He still…Is this a bad dream or…” Fiona wondered as she saw Future Fiona had left behind one thing on her desk: a valentine’s card. It’s date told that it was made by Tails for her right before her betrayal. “He still does love me?” Fiona thought.

Tears came in her eyes as she looked at the card. “What have I done?” she asked herself, her regret finally catching up with her. She didn’t waste any time and packed her bags and prepared to sneak away out of the castle. “Dream or no dream, I can’t go on like this. She was right, I need to go back…”

9. BLACKMAIL

“I can’t take it anymore, how long does this game need to go on?” Fiona said crying with her face buried in her hands. Scourge, on his throne was joined by two Robian foxes. “As long as I want to.” Scourge said, sadistically enjoying Fiona breaking down in front of him. “You already forced me to throw my life as a Freedom Fighter away, to betray my friends, to bust you out, to date Sonic and to hurt Tails…” she said crying.

“Listen, it was I who found your parents roboticized and all and took them with me, out of reach of the BEM. And unless you want me to force them to destroy each other, you’ll do as I say, or you’ll never see them again.” Scourge said as he pointed at the Robian foxes. “You monster!” Fiona growled. “You better remember that!” Scourge said as he grinned in delight and leaned back in his chair.

“I’ll await the day for the Freedom Fighters to finally wipe that smug grin of your face!” Fiona said angily. “Yeah, that’d be the day.” Scourge said as he picked his teeth with one of his fingernails, as all of a sudden, the Robian foxes sprung to life and grabbed Scourge by his arms, before tying him to his throne with some ropes he couldn’t break or cut. “Hey, what’s the big idea?” Scourge asked surprised. “Me!” a voice said. Tails jumped out of the air vent, and landed in front of Scourge. “I was snooping around your castle, until I found these two in storage. I hacked them and restored their memories, and they told me what you were doing with Fiona. So I’ve set up this trap, they’d pretend to be obedient Robian slaves until they saw their chance to capture you.” Tails explained.

“You little brat…if I get out of here…” Scourge growled. Fiona was baffled by this set of events. “Mom…dad?” she asked the Robians. “Yes dear, it’s us!” the Robian vixen that was Fiona’s mother said as she hugged her parents, the two hugging her back, trying to be careful with their Robian strength. “I’m glad you’re back.” She said. “Us too, sweetie.” Fiona’s dad said.

Fiona broke the hug and turned to Tails: “Tails…you saved them, you saved me…I’m sorry I…” “No need to apologize, Scourge forced you to do these bad things. I don’t blame you.” Tails said. “Tails…you saved them, you saved me. I…oh screw it!” she said as she pulled Tails closer and gave him a big kiss on his mouth. Tails saw little hearts dance in front of his eyes as he fainted. “Tails?”

10. CHEATED

“You bitch, how dare you cheat on me with…that little freak!” Scourge said angrily as he pointed at Tails, who was now standing next to Fiona. “You’re one to talk! I was devoted to you, I helped you conquer your world, I helped you escape, I fought alongside you against the freedom fighters…and what to do you do? You cheat on me with practically every girl on Moebius. You never loved me. So how could I still love you? You drove me back into Tails’ arms. I should actually be grateful, he is far better then you!” Fiona bit back.

“What?” Scourge asked surprised. “He kisses better then you, he’s more thoughtful then you, he forgave me for my mistakes, he is kind, he takes my feelings in account, he writes me poems and he makes me enjoy life. You were selfish and took more than you gave! But I’m through with you.” Fiona rubbed it in more.

“Why you spidery brat, I kill you!” Scourge said as he charged at Tails and Fiona, but Tails pulled out a remote, pressed the button, and a cage falls on Scourge. Scourge tries spin-dashing in the cage, but he couldn’t cut through, it was made of Megatal. “You stay in here until the Zone Cops catch you, me and Tailsy are about to have fun!” Fiona said as she blew a raspberry at Scourge. “So, whipped cream or chocolate?” Fiona asked seductively to Tails. “Both!” Tails said, equally seductive.
