Mobius Greatest Heroes Timeline: 201-271

ADVENTURES OF THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS, PART V (201-271)
• Monkey Khan arrives at New Mobotroplis and reveals to Sonic that the Iron Queen has taken over the Eggman Empire.

• Knuckles and the Chaotix foil a scheme from Doctor Finitevus to steal the Master Emerald. During this, Vector makes up with Barby Koala, with whom he had a past. The heroes also see Bill was pressured by the fellow platypi in being a grandmaster for the Eggman Empire, but is actually spying for the Downunda Freedom fighters.

• Bill’s place in the Downunda freedom fighters is taken by Trash the Tazmanian devil, who holds a grudge against Echidnas due to nearly forcing his race into extinction. However, he accepts that not all echidnas are bad when Knuckles saves his life. (this version of Trash stays with the Downunda Freedom fighters)

• Lightning Lynx appears in New Mobotropolis and reveals to Espio that he left the Destructix and joined the Iron Dominion. Espio leaves New Mobotropolis with Lightning Lynx after receiving an unknown summons from the Bride of Constant Vigil (although reluctantly).

• The Iron Queen temporarily takes control of Bunnie Rabbot, but also brainwashes Monkey Khan. He is restored to his senses with the use of a Power Ring; The sad Khan reveals how the Iron Queen forced him to kill his teammates while under her control the previous time. Bunnie Rabbot and Monkey Khan then get rushed to the Tommy Turtle Memorial Hospital.

• Knuckles starts his fight with Espio, who is forced to fight his old friend against his will. He retreats, while giving Knuckles a hint to beat the Iron Queen.

• The now insane Eggman manages to escape from his padded cell, intent on destroying Sonic. Sonic confronts Eggman in his Egg-Tortoise at the Great Forest. Sonic and Regina prepare to battle for Eggman. Sonic manages to bring Eggman along, whom gets locked up in a cell in New Mobotropolis and is tricked by Sonic into believing the Great War is still going on.

• NICOLE raises the dome shield around New Mobotropolis, keeping the Iron Dominion out of the city and forcing them to retreat. The Iron Queen demands Snively to find a way around New Mobotropolis' shield. Snively then uncovers some information about Nicole’s past from Eggman’s secret files.

• Lien-Da disables Dimitri's bionic tendrils and glass bubble and imprisons him in a box. Lien-Da then takes the single reprogrammed chip and installs it in herself, leaving the other chips unchanged. She then is promoted to Grandmaster after claiming Dimitri has fled.

• The Iron King heads to the ruins of Robotropolis in a bid to deactivate the force field surrounding New Mobotropolis. Jun Kun engages the Mes Braves Battalion at Fort Acorn and defeats them. Sonic and Monkey Khan trick the Iron King into doing no damage at all while secretly making New Mobotropolis' power source more secure than ever.

• The Iron Queen tries to take control of Nicole. Nicole puts up a good fight, but the Iron Queen forces her to relive her memories of her death and rebirth, which leaves Nicole open and susceptible to Regina’s control. The Iron Dominion invades New Mobotropolis but Sonic, Sally, Tails and Monkey Khan escape to Freedom HQ.

• Sonic and Sally access the city's mainframe to save NICOLE. Sally digitizes herself and confronts Nicole, eventually getting through to her. Nicole finally admits her past, and finally comes to term with it. Nicole is free, but decides to maintain a ruse of remaining under the Queen's power.

• Sonic, Sally, Tails and Monkey Khan leave for the Dragon Kingdom to convince the four clans to break away from Regina Ferrum. They first meet the Gossammer, of which Uma Arachnis was once a member. They are the first to break away.

• The heroes next convince the Yagyu Lord to break away by reminding him how the Iron King killed his wife, the bride of Rich Nights.

• Sonic, Sally and Ken are confronted by the Destructix, who beg them help get Lightning Lynx back, claiming they want their friend back (while Finitevus just needs all four Fearsome Foursome members for his plan). They manage to convince the Raiju to break off, but disgrace Lightning in the process, who reluctantly rejoins the Destructix.

• Sleuth has retired from mercenary work, while Drago Wolf has joined the Eggman Empire.

• Espio’s ties to the Shinobi clan are revealed. Tired of being forced to fight his friends, he talks his mother, the Bride of Constant Vigil into breaking away from the Iron Dominion.

• Geoffrey St. John has appeared to help Amy and Antoine. Amy, Antoine and Geoffrey attempt to free a number of prisoners, including Rotor. The Iron Dominion plan to Legionize prisoners, but Nicole, as undercover agent, keeps sabotaging the progress.

• Eggman is discovered to have regained his sanity, but Snively refuses to free him at first.

• Sonic, Sally, Tails and Monkey Khan return, ready to defeat the Iron Queen. NICOLE reveals her true loyalties to the Iron Queen. And
• Lien-Da tries to take control of the Dark Egg Legion away from the Iron Queen, but is badly injured when her explosive detonates. Eggman would later patch her up again.

• Snively releases Dr. Eggman from confinement, and they escape. They then hide themselves deep within the Egg Dome.

• The Iron King is defeated by Sonic, Monkey Khan, and Espio who use the Fan of Fen Xing on him once again.

• The Iron Queen battles the Freedom Fighters by using the nanites to become a robo-dragon. The Freedom Fighters defeat and arrest the Iron Queen. She is then taken to a prison in the Dragon Kingdom.

• Espio rejoins the Chaotix on Angel Island, and reveals that Mighty's sister is a member of the Dark Egg Legion while his parents are deceased. Mighty and Ray Mighty and Ray leave Angel Island in search of Mighty's sister.

• Sonic and Tails find Dimitri and bring him back with them to New Mobotropolis.

• Monkey Khan advices Sonic and Sally to patch their relationship, as he reveals among the Dragon Kingdom Freedom Fighters he was forced to kill was his own girlfriend, and advices them to enjoy their lives while they still can. Sonic and Sally renew their romance and their engagement.

• Sonic and Sally are invited to become honourary members of the Wolf Pack by Lupe, who is the leader of the new Wolf Pack Nation. However they are currently at odds with the Felidae.

• The wolves and Felidae are both looking for a missing artifact, the Ancient Onyx. While investigating, Sally discovers a local Dark Egg Legion chapter but is captured and Drago and Razorklaw are revealed to have become Grandmasters.

• Big is exiled from the Felidae.

• The Wolf Pack marches into the Mysterious Cat Country, thinking they have captured Sally. However, Sonic and Big manage to make peace between them, and convince them to band together to fight and the Dark Egg Legion, A peace agreement is worked out between them by Princess Sally, including arrangements for stewardship of the Ancient Onyx.

• Antoine and Bunnie are enjoying their honeymoon which was long overdue, on Cocoa Island. Tails tags along to work on a project. They run afoul of the Battle Bird Armada and manage to give the birds the slip.

• It is revealed that a Dark Egg Legion chapter has captured the Walrus Herd. The Arctic Freedom Fighters request backup in saving the Walrus Herd from a chapter of the Dark Egg Legion, and the Council of Acorn dispatches Sonic, and Rotor tags along with a nanite suit Nicole made.. Sonic meets up with the Arctic Freedom Fighters, who organize a two-pronged assault against the Legion and their Walrus slaves.

• Silver the Hedgehog, sensing a temporal anomaly ends up in present day Artika with the rest of the Freedom fighters, and uses his psychic powers to help fend off the pack of Dark Legion orcas and restore the Walrus’ herd’s free will permanently.

• NICOLE appears before the council of Acorn, and is put on trial for her actions while under the control of the Iron Dominion. However, Sally manages to prove she is in fact a Mobian and not a program, and can’t be put down or deleted because she has rights. By pointing out other instances other Freedom Fighters were controlled or other people were roboticized, all charges are cleared.

• Blaze ends up in the Prime Zone in search of another Sol Emerald and finds it. However, she gets in a scuffle with Team Dark, Team Hooligan and the Babylon Rogues. After clearing a misunderstanding and explaining how much her world needs her Emerald, she and Team Dark defeat the Hooligans and Rogues together. Blaze then leaves with another Sol Emerald.

• Bunnie and Sonic head to Sand Blast City in response to a call for help. Bunnie is knocked out and recovered by the local DEL. Sonic ends up agreeing to help the Sand Blasters in order to find Bunnie. Bunnie finds the DEL is led by her uncle Beauregard, and agrees to help them against the Sand Blasters.

• Bunnie and Sonic pretend to fight so as to damage the refinery as much as possible. The Sand Blasters and Legion both realize this is a ruse and move in to fight, but the refinery is already too much damaged. . Bunnie and Beauregard part ways.

• The Eggman Empire has sent equipment to the Raiju Clan so they can be Legionized.

• Eggman demands Snively declare his relationship with Regina Ferrum over.

• Mogul obtains the Purple Chaos Emerald from Feist and uses it to restore Ixis Naugus, and sends him out to cause trouble for the Freedom Fighters. Naugus runs into a distraught Geoffrey, who think his wife has been killed during an undercover mission. Naugus is able to easily possess Geoffrey in his emotional state.

• Naugus would infiltrate the city of New Mobotropolis but would be found out. After using the Sword of Light to purge Naugus from Geoffrey, Naugus is forced to retreat. Geoffrey then learns Hershey is alive, just is infiltrating the Soumerca Dark Egg Legion and asks Geoffrey to wait for her return.

• Espio and NICOLE agree to arrange for Knuckles to talk with Dimitri, and the two finally make peace.

• Eggman obtains a blue Chaos Emerald from Feist and plans to use it to power his New Death Egg.

• Scourge is released from the No Zone by Finitevus. He and the Destructix prepare for his next plan, and the Destructix explain their backstories to Scourge.

• Eggman’s new Death Egg launches and causes Dark Gaia to prematurely reawaken. Sonic gets exposed to Dark Gaia energy and would become a Werehog at night. They would meet with Light Gaia, aka Chip and would work together to put the planet back together.

• During one of their trips, they need all the Chaos Emeralds to put the planet back into place. They confront Mogul, who refuses to hand it over and wants to exploit the Dark Gaia event to his own ends. He brags how the Freedom fighters can’t do a thing now he’s a respected citizen. However, Breezie (who was now Mogul’s secretary) has recorded his conversation, exposing Mogul’s motives to the world once again. Mogul gets angry and attacks the Freedom fighter but gets defeated and his Emerald taken. Breezie would later ask the Freedom fighters for a favor in exchange for her help taking Mogul down.

• During the shattered world crisis, Knuckles would meet Relic the Pika and her Gizoid sidekick Fixit. They would stay on Angel Island with the Chaotix to learn more about ancient echidna lore.

• The heroes would meet Coral the Betta and Razor the Shark while protecting the underwater city of Meropis from Dark Gaia monsters.

• Naugus would use the absence of the Freedom Fighters to launch an attack from underground, using a control spell with the bones of Ixis Vale. However, Harvey Who puts a task force together of Elias, Larry Lynx, a visiting Silver the Hedgehog, and the wolf twins Lyco and Leeta to stop him. Naugus is arrested and his emerald is stripped.

• Sonic would get the remaining Emeralds from Feist, Elias and GUN and would go after Eggman to get the last one, defeating his Egg Dragoon, destroying his new Death Egg and completing his Emerald set. He becomes Super Sonic and with Chip’s help beats Dark Gaia, forcing both Dark and Light Gaia back into slumber at the planet’s core.

• The Babylon Rogues and the Battle Bird Armada awaken the Babylon Garden, which was buried in the mountainside near New Mobotropolis. The heroes take the Garden down, and it crashes back in the mountains. It would later be recovered and rebuilt into the Sky Patrol.

• Vector, Charmy and Espio would catch up with Mighty and Ray, who have found Mighty’s sister Matilda in the Desert Egg Legion. They would run afoul of the Lord Hood, the Mercia Grandmaster along the way.

• The Nocturnus would finally make its move towards the Conquest of Mobius. They run afoul of the Freedom fighters, Team Dark and the Chaotix alike. With the help of the rogue Nocturnus Shade, they'd take the fight towards their citadel in the Twilight Cage. Super Sonic defeats Ix, and later Argus would appear, but the Elder God would be destroyed with all the heroes' super forms. With Ix gone, Shade leads the Nocturnus, and they rejoin the echidnas in Albion, and Knuckles finally can face his people again.

• Eggman would make an attempt at enslaving the Wisps for his own nefarious purpose, but would be stopped by Sonic and Tails.

• Blaze would run into a rebuilt Metal Sonic, now Captain Metal in the Sol Zone. Using stolen blueprints from Eggman Captain Metal would create his own Death Egg, the Egg O’War, only to be defeated by Burning Blaze.

• Later, the heroes would find out the reason of the Zone lockdown: the Time Eater, which was born from leftover matter from Solaris. Eggman and an alternate counterpart of him from the Genesis zone take control of it to reshape the multiverse, but Sonic and his Genesis zone counterpart destroy it together.

• Breezie recollects the favor from the Freedom fighters and asks them to participate in her fighting tournament to promote the reopened Casino Park.

• Nicole reunites with her father, Dr. Ellidy, who has discovered the Red Star Rings, and runs afoul of Phage.
